Microsoft brings Skype 2.11 update for Windows Phone 8, removes conversation

Recently, we brought an article in which we informed you that Skype has ended support for Windows Phone 7. Skype will now only focus on Windows Phone 8 and also will add support to it. Keeping its focus on Windows Phone 8, Microsoft has recently released Skype 2.11 update for Windows Phone 8.

The new update is released on the feedback of the users. Here what Microsoft says regarding this update:

“Today we’re pleased to release an update to Skype for Windows Phone 8, version 2.11. In this release we’ve continued to focus on addressing user feedback and we’ve made some performance and quality improvements which will improve the stability of the app,”

So what this Skype 2.11 update actually brings? The update is a quite minor ‘update’ however it enables you to remove the conversation which you do not want to keep. This can be done by tapping and holding the conversation you want to remove, then clicking ‘remove’. The update also enables you to manage conversations enabling you to choose what displays in the Recent List.

Skype 2.11 update also contains some ‘general fixes and improvements’ to add stability I guess. The latest Skype 2.11 update can be downloaded from here.
