Pod2g begins considering iOS 7.1 Jailbreak, not confirmed yet!

To the latest updates and leaks, the iOS 8 release is just a month far. At WWDC, we will see both iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 getting a public roll out. What if Apple delay the iOS 8 release to iPhone 6 launch? This is quite much possible as Apple has made its focus on OS X 10.10 for the event. This is certainly gonna hurt the iOS 7.1 users in terms of jailbreaking.

Officially, there is no iOS 7.1 jailbreak at the moment. A lot of scams are circling around which some ‘innocent’ users give try and ends up damaging their device. So, we recommend our readers not to perform any sort of iOS 7.1 Jailbreak. As soon as it is announced, we will bring it to you.

So, what’s the current status of iOS 7.1 Jailbreak? In our last post about a month ago, Pod2g was completely silent regarding it. But this time, we have got some words from Pod2g front person. It seems like Pod2g might be considering the JAILBREAK for iOS 7.1.

In talk with iDownloadBlog, here is what Pod2g front man said,

Not today, and I don’t know about the future. I’ve started to look at it, and started to find some stuff. I think that something’s possible. It depends on when it happens—I mean if we have a jailbreak in one month, for sure we will release it. If it happens in 3 months, we might have to wait for iOS 8. But I’m definitely on it, definitely trying to find something.

As obvious, Pod2g has started working on the jailbreak. But, it completely depends on time. If it is going to take more time to exploit iOS 7.1, Pod2g will leave its attention to iOS 8. But if it’s simple and easy, we will soon be having our hands on iOS 7.1 Jailbreak. In ‘jailbreaking’ world, everything is quite much possible so we need to keep our eyes and minds open.

Also, we suggest ‘jailbroken’ iOS 7 users not to perform the iOS 7.1 update as it will lose their jailbreaking. Moreover, there is no way back i.e. you can’t downgrade. This tutorial however seems to work on some pre-A7 devices and even A7 devices if you have saved shsh blobs.
