Microsoft’s new browser “Spartan” preview is now available

Microsoft Spartan

The wait is finally over. Microsoft has released the first preview of its next browser “Spartan”.  Microsoft announced few months back that it will release Preview builds of Windows 10 faster and it is showing its promise. Spartan is now part of the next build of Windows 10 which is available now through Windows Update. If you are using Windows 10 , you will get the next build automatically. The Spartan will be regularly upgraded as Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore said earlier. So we hope to see the updates like Google Chrome and Firefox.

Microsoft Spartan-1

Spartan is the new Microsoft web browser. There will be no more Internet Explorer in the final version of Windows 10. Microsoft’s decision to say goodbye to Internet Explorer may prove one of its best decisions. Spartan is the a very light web browser and we have to see if it performs even better than Firefox and Google Chrome. One of the best features of Spartan is that you can draw on the web page with your finger, if you are on touch screen, and if you are not on a touch screen, same task can be done by the mouse pointer. Then you can share the drawing with web page via Email, any social media or OneDrive.

In next few weeks, Windows 10 for phones preview is also expected and hopefully it will contain preview build of Spartan browser.

Don’t forget to tell us the experience about the latest Microsoft browser.
