Kimetsu no Yaiba also known as Demon Slayer is a manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The series found success worldwide after the adaptation of its first season. Which also was greatly received by the anime community. Following the anime and manga success, Studio Ufotable has announced a new cannon movie adaptation of the Infinity Train arc of the manga. The manga was rated as the best selling manga in 2019 and it is a very high probability of getting Demon Slayer season 2 right after the movie broadcasts.
The story follows a young ambitious boy named, Tanjirou Kamado who loses his whole family to a flesh-hungry demon except for his little sister, Nezuko Kamado. He then sets his way to become stronger enough to slay the demon who massacred his family while he was selling charcoal.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Train Arc Release Date
The movie is one of the most anticipated movies not only in Japan but in the whole world. People are really excited to watch what kind of demon will the Demon Slayers face in the new movie. As people who have read manga they have an exact notion what will the movie have for us. As I’ve read the manga myself, the movie is going to be a treat for the fans.
The movie will focus around the Flame Pillar: Kyojuro Rengoku and his bond with Tanjirou and his friends while on his way to. In the latest PV we get the image of a new demon which is yes you guessed it right it is a moon, upper or lower that’s what you will find out later. The crew is out to investigate the train where people kept getting missing. I don’t want to spoil the series for you but it is something the fans should look forward to.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Possible Release Date
For getting a new anime season first it is taken into consideration how well the anime and manga are sold among the anime community. The manga was titled as the best selling manga of 2020 and it will end with the release of final chapter 205 mid-May. In May 2020, the franchise recorded over 60 million copies in circulation, including digital versions.
Which is insane. The manga also broke the record set by One Piece with 37.996.373 copies in 2011, which deserves nothing by applause. With that in mind, the movie will surely a hit and it is a high probability that the studio will announce season 2 of the show right after the movie broadcasts. Roughly speaking the fans will not be getting a new season anytime soon but in early to mid-2021.
Ufotable announced the first season on June 4, 2018, and was aired from April 6 to September 28, 2019. So if the movie airs in October and the announcement is made in October the new season will air from after roughly 10 months that is in 2021.
