So at last, Microsoft has officially announced the Windows 8.1 Release Date. As posted by the Microsoft spokesman Brandon LeBlanc on August 14 in a blog, Windows 8.1 will be released this October. On 17th October, Windows 8.1 will be officially released and hit the market Worldwide.
The sources revealed that the Windows 8.1 Development is in last stage. Microsoft is testing the Windows 8.1 these days. However, Microsoft will handover the RTM build to the hardware partners and the OEMS by the end of the current month i.e. August. This is to facilitate the OEMs so that they can carry out their own tests and also update their drivers. It is also expected that some of the devices preloaded with Windows 8.1 will also be released along with Windows 8.1.
Windows 8.1 will be available as an FREE update for all current Windows 8 users. Windows 8.1 will be released in just one year of the Windows 8 Release.
