Shokugeki no Souma season 4 announced. The season is titled as Shokugeki no Soma: Shin no Sara and is planned for an October 2019 broadcast.
Shokugeki no Souma is a manga series written by Yuuto Tsukuda and Yukiby Morisaki and drawn by Shun Saeki. The manga was later adapted into anime series which aired from April 4, 2015, to September 26, 2015. Just a few months ago we covered an article about Shokugeki no Souma manga teasing an important announcement. We have also speculated the important teaser could be either a movie, new season, OVA or live action as it tuned out the important announcement is none other than a new season.
Shokugeki no Souma Season 4 Announced
Food Wars or Shokugeki no Souma is considered to be one of the most popular anime series around the globe. In case you’re not familiar which I really doubt, here is a brief synopsis described by MAL,
Ever since he was a child, fifteen-year-old Souma Yukihira has helped his father by working as the sous chef in the restaurant his father runs and owns. Throughout the years, Souma developed a passion for entertaining his customers with his creative, skilled, and daring culinary creations. His dream is to someday own his family’s restaurant as its head chef.
Yet when his father suddenly decides to close the restaurant to test his cooking abilities in restaurants around the world, he sends Souma to Tootsuki Culinary Academy, an elite cooking school where only 10 percent of the students graduate. The institution is famous for its “Shokugeki” or “food wars,” where students face off in intense, high-stakes cooking showdowns.
As Souma and his new schoolmates struggle to survive the extreme lifestyle of Tootsuki, more and greater challenges await him, putting his years of learning under his father to the test.
Shokugeki no Souma Manga Coming To An End
There is sad news for Shokugeki no Souma fans as well. The manga series will continue in Jump GIGA for 3 more chapters and is titled, Shokugeki no Soma ~Le dessert~. This somehow makes me sad as one of my favorite manga is coming to an end but it was inevitable. If the studio which will be producing the fourth season decided to cover the whole arc in it then it will also be the final season.
