It has been 2 years since Mob Psycho 100 was aired on TV and fans have been waiting anxiously for any news or details on 2nd season. Well I just got some good new for you, Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 will be premiered at AnimeNYC on Saturday, Nov 17.
Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 Details So Far
The anime is based on Manga series by One the same guy behind our favorite series “OnePunch Man”. Here is the basic synopsis of the manga according to MAL
Kageyama Shigeo (a.k.a. “Mob”) is an 8th grader with psychic abilities. He could bend spoons and lift objects with his mind from a young age, but he slowly began to withhold from using his abilities in public due to the negative attention he kept receiving. Now, the only thing he wants is to become friends with a girl in his class, Tsubomi. With his psychic “mentor” (who has no psychic powers), he continues his daily life, attempting to realize his purpose in life.
Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 and AnimeNYC
It was just announced on AnimeNYC official website, which is an annual three-day anime convention held during November at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, that two events will happen related to Mob Psycho 100.
The first one is:
MOB PSYCHO 100: Psycho Helmet Gathering in NYC
Helmet Gathering is an event which will be happening in New York City. This event will show the recap of Mob Psycho 100 with official voice actor of Mob – Setsuo Ito.
Along with recap, there will be special announcements about Mob Pscyho 100 season 2 as well as new information.
Date: Friday, Nov 16 – 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Panel Room 1)
and the other one is:
MOB PSYCHO 100 II: World Premiere Screening
This event will premier the brand new episode of Mob Psycho 100 season 2 with Setsuo Ito. There will be free giveaways, and you will be able to watch exclusive comment videos from cast and creators. There will be super special prizes as well.
Date: Saturday, Nov 17 – 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM (Panel Room 1)
