Microsoft Surface is Microsoft’s own tablet which can be converted into a laptop. Today Microsoft announced the cheaper surface, Surface 3 with Intel Atom processor and price starts from $499 only.
Surface 3 comes is only 622g and it comes with a 10.8” ClearType Full HD Plus Display with FHD (1920×1080) resolution. It comes in 2 storage capacities, a version with 2GB RAM and 64GB storage and a version with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Processor, to be exact is Quad Core Intel® Atom™ x7-Z8700 (2MB Cache, 1.6GHz with Intel Burst™ technology up to 2.4GHz). Of course it comes with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a USB 3.0 port. It can play 10 hours of video on a single charge.
Surface 3 comes with a 8 MP autofocus main camera and a 3.5 MP front-facing camera. It comes with Windows 8.1 pre-installed and will be upgraded to Windows 10 for free, once it is available. Surface 3 comes with 1 year hardware warranty.
