Yuru Camp△ also known as Laid-Back camp season 2 was just announced in a live event for the series. The first season aired in January to March 2018 and was met with a lot of praise and it stands at a solid 8.32 ratings on MAL
Laid-Back Camp Season 2
There was a live event of some kind which revealed that the season 2 for the community loved Laid-Back camp will be released soon and after 6 months after 1st season finish airing it is not surprising to get a second season. The anime is an adaptation of the manga by Afro and been published since May 23rd, 2015. The basic story is,
“Rin, a girl camping by herself at the base of Mt. Fuji.
Nadeshiko, a girl who came to see Mt. Fuji on her bicycle.
The scenery the two witness over a supper of cup ramen marks the start of a new friendship and many adventures to come, camping in the great outdoors!”
Season 1 Overview
Here is the basic overview of the story covered by season 1 so far,
Rin Shima’s ideal way of spending her days off is camping alone at the base of Mount Fuji, unlike the ideal ways of almost everyone with their loved ones. She does everything by herself from collecting woods for the fire to pitching her tent and always did this alone and she does not consider leaving this laid-back life anytime soon.
A girl named, Nadeshiko Kagamihara who apparently gets lost in the area and had to look for shelter ends up in Rin’s camp where Rin’s usual camping sessions somehow end up as a surprise get-together for two. This results in the disruption of her plans end up falling asleep halfway on her destination.
After getting no other option she approaches the only person around to get help, Rin Shima. After their hasty introduction both of the girls enjoy the conversations while sitting near the campfire, night views, camping, eating ramen together and even after Nadeshiko’s sister finally picks her up later that night, both girls silently ponder the possibility of another camping trip together.
This show really takes away built-up tension or if you are looking for something light and comfortable this is the show you should watch.
Short Anime and Movie
A short anime series along with a movie was also announced at the event but exact date was not announced however.
