Continuing with Apex Legends related guides, I have come across yet another one. This time the fix is especially for Nvidia GPUs. Here is how to fix Apex Legends Crash Error on Nvidia Graphic Cards.

If you have been following us here on TNM, we have covered Apex Legends quite extensively. The game although, fun to play, has an abundance of issues that seem to make the game crash frequently.

Make sure you go through my Mega guide on all the major issues with the game on PC. If none of those solutions work for you then the following guide might be the one. Here is how you do it.

How To Fix Apex Legends Crash Error on Nvidia Graphic Cards

Lurking around EA forums and Youtube, I came across this neat little tip to help solve the crashing problem on Nvidia GPU, particularly, the newer ones. Reportedly, this method has worked for many but as always none of these fixes are sure to work for everyone. With that in mind, follow the steps below.

Step 1- Right-click on your desktop.

Step 2- Click on “Nvidia Control Panel”

Step 3- Once inside, click on “help” and then check “Debug Mode”.

This will disable the Factory overclock on your GPU and revert it back to the factory settings. This will hopefully help with the constant crashes.

Moreover, as an additional measure, you can also try the following steps as well.

Step 1- If you are using any wallpaper engine, you need to pause it or quit it before you start the game. Apex Legends seems to have a special problem with third-party services running in the background.

Step 2- Once you are in the game, minimize it and go into the task manager, click on the “details” tab and look for “easyanticheat.exe”. Right click on it and set the priority to low.

I am not exactly sure why the easyanticheat.exe bit works but many have reported that it has helped their game run without any crashes.
