We told you back that Nokia will be releasing its HERE maps to all Windows 8.1 devices and here is the day. Nokia HERE maps is now available to download for all Windows 8.1 devices including Laptops, Tablets and Desktops. So if you have a surface tablet, a laptop of any manufacturer or a Desktop and you have Windows 8.q installed then. you are good to go. That was really quick. HERE maps includes 3D city guidance, offline maps support, and public transportation details. Nokia HERE maps were preloaded before only on Nokia Lumia 1520 but now all Windows 8.1 users can download it.
There are more than 140 cities supported and each city page includes panoramic street-level photography, public transport lines, local POIs and directions for walking, driving, and taking the bus or train. Moreover you can save your personal POIs in private. Those private collections can also be pinned to the homescreen as a Live Tile for easier access.
