Nokia HERE maps to available for all Windows 8.1 devices

Nokia HERE maps is a maps service from Nokia. It was available only for Windows Phone devices till now and if you did not have a Windows Phone, you won’t be able to use Nokia HERE. But here is the good news as Nokia has recently announced that its HERE maps service will be available for all Windows 8.1 devices including laptops, desktops and tablets. This also includes Windows RT so if you have a surface RT you are good to go.


On Windows devices you will be able to use your mouse and keyboard. But you can use touch as well if your device has a touch screen too. The update will also include latest high-resolution satellite imagery so you can enjoy the imagery more clearly now. The App will also support search history. The offline loading of maps is improved too and it will load instantly in your computer now if your computer is fast enough.

Here maps will be free to download and will be available in Windows Store. At the moment, Windows Phone users can download it from here.
