Google announces Android 4.4 KitKat

Considering the names of different Android versions, one can wonder that some Chocolate Crunch is missing. Realizing this, Google has recently announced the upcoming version of Android i.e. Android 4.4 KitKat. Everyone knows that KitKat is a crunchy chocolate product of Nestle. So it shows the addition of some crunch in Android versions. Google has also continued its tradition of naming Android versions on different famous desserts like Ginger, Jelly Bean and now KitKat.

Previously it was rumored that Google would release Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. However all these rumors came to an end last week when Google announced Android 4.4 KitKat. Google has not unveiled the details of the new Android 4.4 KitKat but has just announced its name. Some may expect that Android 4.4 KitKat will contain the updates that were previously expected in Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. While some can hope that it will only contain few updates while Google will keep its focus on the release of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.

Now let’s talk about the release of new Android 4.4 KitKat. It is expected that Google will follow its tradition in this aspect too and will release Android 4.4 KitKat on its new upcoming device. Keeping in mind that Google has announced the release of Nexus 5 this October. So it can be assumed that Nexus 5 will be pre-loaded with Android 4.4 KitKat.
