The buying and trading of cosmetic accessories for characters is a big aspect of online games these days. Games like Fortnite, PUBG, and CS:GO offer a vast variety of skins and other purchasable cosmetic items to customize the look and feel of your character. In recent years, we have seen a big jump in the trend of battle royale games and as more and more BR games come on to the scene, the market trading and buying options become more competitive as games try to attract most players. Recently, A leak came forth on Twitter that hints towards a Fortnite Gifting System coming on the scene soon.
In a recent leak posted on Twitter by “Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks“, it appears that Fortnite players will now be able to buy store items as gifts for other players.

The leak came in the form of Fortnite’s store API where it was spotted in the code that items could now be gifted. The code does say enabled, however, right now this is not the case but we expect that the option to gift will soon be available in the store.
