Finally, there is an update to WhatsApp for Windows Phone after a long time. The update was being in test via secret WhatsApp beta program. Now, it has gone ‘public’. Last time when WhatsApp for Windows Phone received an update was in June.
The new update brings some cool features along with enhancements. Unfortunately, the most awaited feature i.e. sharing audio files is still not available. This is something really demanded by the users. Here is what the new WhatsApp for Windows Phone brings,
- WhatsApp now opens faster
- Share Location: drop and drag pin lets you share a precise location
- You can now add captions to photos and videos
- Crop and rotate photos
- Added ability to archive chats and groups
- Each chat or group can now have it’s own background
- Better support for phones with high-resolution screens
