Sentai Filmworks has announced To LOVE-Ru English dub, an anime adaptation of the manga by Kentaro Yabuki and Saki Hasemi. No official date for dub has been announced yet but will be in the future.

One should always understand other people’s customs before making commitments. Unfortunately, Rito Yuki had no idea the planet Develuke even existed when their Princess Lala teleported naked into his bathtub, let alone that touching a girl’s breasts is how they propose marriage!
Given that he was in the tub when she appeared, and slippery soap suds being what they are, Rito’s now engaged to a beautiful girl with a pointed tail. Worse, various aliens are showing up on missions of varying hostile intent, the girl that Rito really loves is still completely unaware of his feelings, and all of the new customs he’s got to learn seem to involve touching a girl’s chest! (Okay, maybe he’ll get used to that last one, but he’s still in high school and a bit intimidated.) Can a nice boy from Japan become the next King of Galaxy A or will he just end up feeling like a b**b?
My Thoughts on the Show
The show is obviously not family friendly but is a good watch if you are looking for a good Harem anime with cute girls with decent personalities and with a little touch of ecchi (sexual material). The season 1 was aired from Apr 4, 2008, to Sep 26, 2008, as since it contains mild nudity the show is R+ rated. The genres of the show are Sci-Fi, Harem, Comedy, Romance, Ecchi, School, Shounen. If you are looking for a show with not much of a pathetic main character, with cute girls surrounding him with a real decent plot. This is the show for you.
Many of the Harem/comedy shows flop today because they contain way too much fan service, which might be good in some cases, but they do not have a good plot to follow. Most of the people watch a show due to its story plot. If the plot is boring I will not watch the show doesn’t matter how much mild nudity it has or panty shots it will have. This show has almost anything which you can expect from an idea Harem shows, mild ecchi scenes, hilarious comedy, interesting plot, cute girls, pretty art and great OST.

The release date for the English dub wasn’t revealed however we can expect it in the summer of next year at max.
