Gamescom 2018 has proved to be very eventful so far with the announcement of new games and hardware, it has been a rather exciting couple of days, to say the least. The event was started off with the much awaited Nvidia Turing GPU announcement that we covered yesterday. A couple of games were announced as well during the conference such as the Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Today, what we have for you is the Resident Evil 2 Remake. Gamescom has bestowed us with more details and screenshots that people were eagerly awaiting. Resident Evil 2 originally came out in 1998 on the first ever PS system, however, the game was an instant success and Capcom, the developer for the whole franchise, followed Resident Evil 2 with a number of other sequels. Due to the game’s popular demand, Capcom decided last year that a remake for current gen systems was needed and they are not wrong. The news of the remake has gotten players across the world very excited.

Unveiled at Gamescom 2018, claire will be making her debut in the upcoming Resident Evil 2 Remake. A whole campaign story will be dedicated to her alone.
