Recently, a tweet from Nokia unveiled that Nokia plans to organize a Nokia Event on 22nd October. Nokia Event will be an “Innovation Reinvented” event as revealed by the tweet.

Previously it was rumored that Nokia plans to release a smartphone late in September possibly on 26th but now the date has been delayed to 22nd October. This delay in the release of smartphones is possible due to the Microsoft-Nokia deal as Microsoft has acquired the Nokia smartphone business. No further details were revealed by the tweet other than the date. However, one can imagine Nokia to organize event in Emirates i.e. Abu Dhabi by seeing the picture of desert. Moreover it is also rumored that Nokia Event will be in London, New York or San Francisco.
So what the top stories of Nokia Event can be? As previously learnt, Nokia plans to release a Lumia smartphone and a RT tablet. Nokia continues to release Lumia smartphones after the success of Lumia 1020 and others. The expected Nokia Lumia 1520 will be comparatively large screen smartphone i.e. 6-inch HD display. The smartphone is supposed to have 20MP PureView camera having support for Optical Image Stabilization. The other expected device is a 10.1-inch Windows RT tablet having HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a 6.7MP camera powered by a quad-core Qualcomm 8974 ARM processor. The RT tablet is expected to be named as “Sirius”.
