Every year, Activision announces a new Call of Duty game and enthusiasts are anxious to see what Activision has planned for this year as well. However, it seems that someone already announced it before Activision could. And, that someone was unexpected. A few hours ago, a user on Reddit reported that a new game, COD2020, was introduced to the NVIDIA Control Panel. The NVIDIA Control Panel administers all the GPU-related processes on your computer, which includes games. Obviously, this came with the new driver update!
In the Reddit post made by u/RedArthurDeadMorgan, the NVIDIA Control Panel mentions a few options for COD2020. Now, we’re not certain what this new game is. It could also be another remastered version since that seems to be what Activision’s inclined towards these days. And, the files mention “ship”, which refers to the release date. So, we can expect the new Call of Duty game to arrive soon! This is the most time we’ve gone without a Call of Duty game, so this news comes as a pleasure to many.
After many users went on Twitter to report this news, NVIDIA removed it from their Control Panel. However, the news had already spread across the internet. It’s Activision’s previous game from the franchise wasn’t much acclaimed. But, we can anticipate that won’t be the case this time! It’s probable that the new game is being examined on PC. Since companies across the world have been closed, this is the most convenient way for workers to work online.
