You can bet there has been a lot of speculation regarding the next gen of GPUs from Nvidia and there is a good reason for it. The Current gen GPUs saw a decline in prices in the second half of 2018 mainly because of the downfall of the crypto craze that had taken the business world by storm. Miners were buying GPUs in enormous quantities affecting the demand and supply in the market. Consequently, the prices soared. Now that the prices are stabilizing people are trying to figure out if buying the current gen Nvidia GPUs is worth it since the Next gen of GPUs are right around the corner. Today, we have the very first glimpses of Nvidia’s upcoming series of GPUs. Pictures of MSI RTX 2080 Ti GAMING X TRIO GPU surfaced online earlier today and we cant stop our excitement.

The RTX 2080 Ti GAMING X TRIO features a triple fan design with, you guessed, RGB lighting. The backplate seems to be silver brushed aluminum however we can’t say for sure at this time. The GPU also features new Type-C VirtualLink connector and NVLink. To power up this big boy double 8 pin connectors are featured on the GPU. This time around, the traditional SLI connector has been done away with, however, more details on this are yet to surface.

Although it is still early to tell what the real-life performance of this card entails, we can be certain that this GPU would be no less than an absolute beast. At least now we know for certain what Nvidia has chosen to call their upcoming line of GPUs. Earlier people were unsure whether the next line would continue as 11xx or 20xx.

Earlier this month we had reported that a Chinese company by the name of Maxsun teased their iCraft Geforce GTX 2080 GPU. That GPU bore many of the same features design-wise and was an interesting revelation at the time.
