AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX and Cinebench Score Revealed by AMD France

AMD has been in a constant battle with Intel ever since their Ryzen line of processors hit the market. The two tech giants have been trying to one up each other in a race towards greater CPU cores and better performance. Today, Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX cinebench score leaked online. The Ryzen 2990WX is an upcoming AMD processor which is a 32 core 64 thread monstrosity. The processor, although an overkill for gaming setups, would be ideal for workstations that are designed for content creation like  video rendering and Auto Cad. Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX will feature a base clock of 3.0 Ghz and a boost clock of 4.2 GHz.

The leak surfaced on an AMD France webpage where it was stacked against the Intel i9 7980XE. According to the benchmark, Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX scored 5,099 while Intel i9 7980XE scored significantly less at 3335. We are not surprised as the Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX is an absolute mammoth of a processor and this sort of performance was expected from it.

It seems like AMD has finally caught up to Intel, The Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX will be selling for around 1700 USD upon release.
