Twitter app for Windows Phone gets updated, brings enhanced features

Recent, Twitter updated its ‘Twitter’ app for Windows Phone. This updates brings the version of Twitter app to 3.0. The new app adds a lot of features i.e. new theme, lockscreen features, improvements etc. The features of the new app are discussed in detail below.

The new Twitter app enhances Search and Discover features. The new app also makes it easy to read tweets. A new theme i.e. ‘Dark’ theme has also been introduced, infact ‘reintroduced’. ‘Dark’ theme was part of Twitter app in the start but when Twitter changed its look and design, ‘Dark’ theme was removed. However here it is back, befitting with Windows Phone style.

The app also brings numerous lockscreen features. You can see tweets right from your lockscreen. The new Twitter app pins keyword searches to the lockscreen. Moreover, you can also make an account ‘favorite’ so whenever he/she tweets, you will get ‘notified’. The feature will be more handy when Nokia introduces the ‘Glance’ feature for Windows Phone.
