TouchPal will be the first sliding keyboard for iOS 8

At WWDC, Apple announced iOS 8 which will bring support for 3rd party i.e. custom keyboards. At the same event, Apple introduced a new iOS keyboard named QuickType which brings words predictions. Now gradually, the popular 3rd party keyboard (SwiftKey, Swype, Fleksy and Minuum) developers has also started to work on the iOS 8 custom keyboards. All these keyboards are already popular on Android. The keyboards will have word prediction option. None of them will come with sliding gesture support. Here, we show you the first sliding keyboard for iOS 8!

The famous Android keyboard maker TouchPal has now showed up its iOS keyboard. The developer has come up with a video that shows the sliding keyboard for iOS 8. Have a look on the video:

The TouchPal sliding keyboard will also bring words prediction and other features. These features are not shown in the video but will be part of the final release. We may have some more demos of TouchPal sliding keyboard in coming future.

This initial demo indicates that the race is started. All the Android keyboard competitors has got their eyes on the iOS. All are focusing to introduce the best iOS keyboard and to capture the market, straightaway.
