The Avengers game has been on hiatus for many years, with many rumors surrounding the development constantly coming in and out. However, it seems that we finally have an official statement from Avengers, stating the game will be shown on June 10th.

This is the official Avengers account. The same account which tweets news regarding the Avengers movies, more recently Avengers Endgame.
It is a good surprise to see that a game which was once rumored to have been lost to the sands of time after being announced, be brought back to life and more importantly being shown off to the world in only a matter of 2 weeks!
While we are still in the dark about the important details of the game, such as location, characters, setting, genre, etc. We can hope that the reveal that does come sheds some light on the game and helps make it a great game.
Now that the Thanos/Infinity Gauntlet saga has come to a close, perhaps now is a best time for an Avengers game to usher us into the next phase of Marvel movies.
The game was only announced a few years ago, but the game mysteriously disappeared and made occasional appearances on and off the news in the form of a rumor or any other whisper. The game is being developed by Crystal Dynamics, the studio renowned for their work in the Tomb Raider games.
With such a great studio at the driver’s seat, we have no doubt that The Avengers Game is definitely going to be a game we are going to eagerly anticipate.
For now, all we can do is mark our calendars for the promised day and see what years of silence and hard work has in store for us. It will also be curious to see how the game will fit in with the previous movies and if they were the reasons for the constant delay.
