Surviving Mars is a simulation video game developed by Bulgarian Haemimont Games and published by Paradox Interactive. The game is currently available on Xbox One, PC and PS4 and now Surviving Mars: Space Race Expansion has been announced with a brand new trailer.

Citizens unite! The race to stake your place in space has begun. Surviving Mars: Space Race, the first major expansion from the survival management game Surviving Mars, is blasting off with a focus on mission sponsors and rival colonies. Pitting Earth’s greatest countries and most powerful companies against each other, Space Race encourages players to choose their sponsor wisely as each has its own benefits and objectives, and other colonies are competing for the limited resources on the red planet.
The expansion will include the following new things
- Rival colonies
- Trading system
- Random events
- New vehicles and buildings
- Planetary anomalies
- New mission sponsors
You can currently get a %10 discount on pre-purchasing the DLC on Steam and the Surviving Mars: Space Race Plus is available for pre-purchase as well, which includes the following items
- Surviving Mars: Colony Design Set
- Surviving Mars: Marsvision Song Contest
- Surviving Mars: Space Race
With all these gameplay enchantments and new features, we’re excited to see what the new expansion brings to the table and how it improves the base game.
There isn’t a release date announced for this expansion yet but we’ll let you know as they announce it.
