Samsung has finally revealed the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and when you first look at it, it doesn’t really look any different from the S6 and S6 Edge. That’s because the changes they made are minimal but still very important.
So the sizes of the screens are 5.1 inch for the Galaxy S7 and 5.5 inch for the Galaxy S7 Edge and if you ask me the size is just right. Samsung used the Super AMOLED display. This gives you a phone with a big screen and excellent display quality that can be handled easily without any hassle. Plus this time they made the back of the phone a little curved at the edges to make the phone comfortable to handle and use. Furthermore they made the back camera’s bump fairly smaller so…yay.
Next is the camera which is 12MP this actually means that everything will be a lot faster and the camera is Dual Pixel which means that it can focus on two things at once just like the human eyes and deliver super fast auto focus that can deal with abrupt motions. The cameras low light capturing capabilities have also been greatly improved. The S7 and S7 Edge can also be seamlessly be connected and used with the Gear 360.
Also the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are water resistant to 1.5 meters and dust resistant as well. The sd card slot is back as well that will make the people very happy.
A new feature that Samsung introduced is the game launcher that helps you play games without any interruptions and you can even record game play and take screen shot with help of this launcher easily and send it to your friends.
And the last feature that they introduced is the Always On, by turning this on the screen is as it says always on and displays a clock or a calendar or an image you want but it consumes a lot battery even though the phone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.
