Your childhood is awesome if you grew up watching anime on Toonami on Cartoon Network like me. One of the shows which took my by its epic moments and story was One Piece. I started to watch the show when I was in 7th grade and now here I am still watching the show. Not only did I watch the anime but I have read the manga as well. The latest arc is one of the most hyped arcs ever anticipated in One Piece and Oda did not disappoint. One Piece Chapter 921 is out today and revealing Kaido’s mindblowing real form!

One Piece Chapter 921 Overview and Kaido’s Real Form!
Let’s talk about the fun part! In One Piece chapter 921 Kin’emon explains his plans to the Straw Hats and the plans to recruit those still loyal to the Kozuki Family in order to prepare for the raid on Onigashima in two weeks. He has a kunoichi (female ninja) named Shinobu to come to train Nami in ninjutsu (The art of sneak, stealth, and camouflage etc).
On the other hand, Shutenmaru and the Atamayama Thieves plunder Okobore Town when they are confronted by Jack. Shutenmaru and Jack quickly get into a fight but gets interrupted by Kaido.
Now, brace yourselves ladies, gentlemen and kids reading this, Kaido flies in his DRAGON form, and Kaido tells Jack to bring Luffy to him immediately.
Yes, Kaido is a freaking Dragon! I DID NOT see this coming at all and have to say he looks really badass! Check him out in the picture down below:
Let me share some of the interesting theories which got rejected by this massive reveal!
Kaido’s Devil Fruit Cockroach Theory
Some people believed that due to being nearly indestructible and able to survive in any circumstance and judging by his appearance his possible devil fruit is of a Zoan type – Cockroach. This makes a little bit of sense but I don’t think One Piece fans will find pleasing by seeing Kaido turning into a giant cockroach, especially female readers.
Kaido’s Devil Fruit Fish Theory
Another mythical Zoan theory that was posted on the internet is the fish Zoan type theory. This is another theory which made a lot of sense but in the end, was clearly rejected. The theory states, since Kaido is unable to kill himself even unable to drown himself in the water is due to this fish type devil fruit. The scales on his chest resembles koi fish.
Another hint is Kaido’s mustache. Koi fish are known for these types of mustaches
Since fish can swim in water. This means Kaido’s devil fruit is a koi fish type.
Last but not least, Kaido Devil Fruit Typhon Theory
This one is really interesting and very different. This theory says that the Kaido devil fruit is a Zoan Typhon type. He has eaten a Beast Beast type Devil fruit, type Typhon. Who is Typhon? The Tyhon, according to Greek mythology, is the love child of Gaea (pronounced Guy-a) and Tartarus. Who looks like this
The reasons he is Typhon is because:
- Kaido has 3 calamities.
- Kaido, as you already know, has a crew of only Zoans.
- Kaido has the temperament of a child.
- Kaido is “Immortal” in one sense.
This is all this theory has to say and I didn’t write these theory or anyone above this. You can find a lot of like these on the internet.
