2018 is a great year for the Nintendo Switch. At E3 it was revealed that it will receive a number of new and exciting releases. This included the likes of Super Smash Bros. UltimatePokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, Fallout Shelter, Super TheMario Party and even FIFA 19. re have also been announcements that some retro games from the arcade era will be coming over to the switch, courtesy of Flying Tiger Entertainment. Now, the Nintendo Switch is getting yet another amazing game, this time from the mobile games developer Gameloft. Gameloft have announced Modern Combat 5 Blackout for the Nintendo Switch.

Gameloft is a mobile game developer that has made quite a few good titles for mobile platforms. Their titles include the Asphalt series, a very popular racing game for mobile phones, and the Modern Combat series, a shooting game for mobile phones. Well the latter franchise is now coming to the Nintendo Switch, as Modern Combat 5 Blackout has been announced for the platform.

Modern Combat 5 Blackout is the latest entry into the Gameloft’s first person shooting franchise. The game was released all the way back in 2014, and was available for download on Android, iOS and Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. It was the successor to the previous game, Modern Combat 4 Zero Hour. Now, it is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Here is the original launch trailer for the game:

No information regarding the release date, of Modern Combat 5 Blackout for the Nintendo Switch, has been revealed. It is also unclear of which features will be ported to the new platform, and whether or not the new release will receive any enhancements, to either game play or visuals. There is certainly more to come from Gameloft.
