Life Is Strange can be said to be one of the best adventure games that came out in the past decade, and this game will be getting an exciting and somewhat unexpected prequel. Even though we all knew that Life Is Strange is going to have a sequel made by the developer Dontnod, but what we didn’t know was if there would be a prequel to this popular title (we had only heard rumors). This prequel will be three episodes long, and the release date for the first episode is the 31st of August. Although this game was announced during Microsoft’s conference, there is nothing that hints to the game being an Xbox One exclusive.

The original Life Is Strange was centered on a high school student, Max, an aspiring photographer who discovers she can rewind time. The story is focused on Max’s experiences as she learns about her budding power, and that she can use to reshape the future or change past happenings.

Life is Strange-P

Life is Strange: Before The Storm happens three years before the occurrences of the original game. The players would be able to control a 16-year-old Chloe Price. And, this will be as she tries to deal with her best friend, Max’s departure. This would result in Chloe becoming friends with Rachel Amber, the popular girl. This duo has to help each other get through their respective hardships, while Rachel struggles with a family secret.

Other aspects of Life is Strange: Before The Storm are yet to be unveiled. Players are excited to find out several things; like if the game would be emphasizing aspects and events of the original game, such as time travel. Another detail that players might be eager to find out is if this game messes with any of the key events that had either happened in the original game or were hinted at during it.

However, we believe it being unlikely that the developers would’ve messed with the mythology in any considerable way. But, we are interested to see how the developers incorporate some of our beloved characters in this specific situation and timeframe.
