Red Dead Online is currently available as a separate game for $5 on all major platforms. PC players can choose between Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Rockstar Store, each with its own clients. Players that are interested in the single-player can also purchase it through the game as well. Now, if you are on the PC version, and are running into the Red Dead Online not launching, here is how you can fix it.

These issues become common with each new update, whether that is related to an update from Rockstar, or NVIDIA and AMD. Most of the time, these issues are fixed using the same few methods that we have already gone through. It is a bit frustrating how often this game breaks with each update, but that seems to be the case for now.

Multiple users all over Steam forums have reported that they can’t seem to launch the game, even when they could before. Now, there are a few suspicions, and one of those is related to a new NVIDIA driver. You can try the following methods to see if it works for you.

Find Red Dead Online or Red Dead Redemption 2 in your Steam library

  • Right-click on it, and select Properties
