Hitman 3 cracked by scene group CODEX on release day

Hitman 3 cracked
Hitman 3

Hitman 3 is the latest title to be hit by scene groups and has been cracked on the day of launch. There are many titles that make use of the Denuvo DRM protection, but Hitman 3 wasn’t one of those. It seems that even with an online progression system, Hitman 3 has been cracked by the scene group CODEX. More recently, CODEX was also responsible for cracking Cyberpunk 2077, which also didn’t have any Denuvo protection.

TheNerdMag does not support or advocate piracy in any way, though we do hold questionable views regarding DRM, so while we are sharing news regarding cracking, this in no way means we use or advertise said cracks. We urge fans to continue supporting developers that are bringing them titles to PC.

Hitman 3 cracked by CODEX

Unlike Hitman 2, which had Denuvo protection, Hitman 3 has been cracked by the famous scene group CODEX. Since the title featured standard client DRM, which in this case is Epic’s, it was only a matter of time before scene groups got their hands on it. Already, multiple repacking groups have started compiling all three games into a single release. It will be interesting to see how this crack handles progression and unlocks since the game uses an IO account to manage all that.

DENUVO VS PIRACY

Denuvo’s fight with piracy has been something amazing to witness. Scene groups have managed to crack games literally 3 days from release with titles like Hitman 2. However, at times pirates had to wait months and months for their favorite games to be available on torrent sites.

Various scene groups have joined hands in the fight against Denuvo. New groups like FCKDRM are consistently working on new ways to counter Denuvo.
