DESIGN: Google Pixel 2 VS Google Pixel 2 XL
As we know that Pixel and Pixel XL has a major difference of screen and size. As obvious from the name, Pixel XL, it indicates that the second device is going to be large in size. Accordingly, we are to see the major difference of displays. Rumors says that Pixel 2 is coming with a Cinematic 5 inches screen with a High Definition display. Nowadays, we hear discussions about the latest Android Oreo after Android Nougat. Shortly, Android P is going to take the place of Android Oreo. Talking about the rear cameras, the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are coming with a 12 Megapixels Rear Cameras. Unlike the trend, it won’t carry a dual camera. Instead, the single camera lens is as large as the fingerprint scanner. It brings more light and enhanced photography experience. Moreover, it will be useful in poor lighting.
Shifting towards the Front Cameras, it seems that both the handsets are exhibiting a 7 Megapixels sensor. In actual, it should bring improvements regarding the low-light shooting. In addition, we may see optical image stabilization in the front and rear cameras of both the upcoming devices.
At the same rate, Battery Capacity of a smartphone has the equal importance as Camera has. In fact, it makes a really big difference. For instance, If a phone has all the high end features but lack at the battery capacity, it will go down the scale. Above all, it is really important to keep a balance between Battery and Features. Luckily, we are expecting the balance from Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
Just as the Display, both the devices will differ at battery. Google Pixel 2 is coming with a 2700mAh Battery whereas Google Pixel 2 XL is coming with a 3520mAh Battery cell. This clearly indicates that Pixel 2 XL is comparatively better at the Battery game. Whether the battery supports fast charging or wireless charging, it is yet to be clear.
PRICE: Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL
In my opinion, the Google Pixel 2 XL is going to be amazing as compared to Pixel 2. In fact, there must be a moderate difference between both devices keeping in view the features. Pixel 2 XL has a large display with wide ratio and with more battery capacity. Though, it totally depend on the buyers that which specifications they go with. Keeping in mind the Features and Specifications, Google Pixel 2 XL is winning on the board.
Hopefully, Pixel 2 will cost $649 for the 64 GB version and $749 for the 128 GB variant. The larger Pixel 2 XL will reportedly cost $849 for the 64 GB version and $949 for the 128 GB model.
