Nvidia introduced DisplayPort 1.3 / 1.4 in their “Maxwell” and “Pascal” graphics architecture to keep up with the pace by with display standards are getting up day by day. However the execution of the ports on some new monitors that have the authority of using DisplayPort 1.3 / 1.4 is not very tempting. The users have been reporting some issue with the boot sequence and blank screens until operating system is loaded.
Sadly these issues cannot be fixed by a a driver update and requires a BIOS update instead. Fortunately you don’t have to claim your warranty to resolve this bug. Nvidia has released a tool which updates the BIOS within the Windows if it detects any need to update your graphic card. This tool first unloads your driver and then flashes you graphics card’s BIOS. This process should not be interrupted.

1. Flash back your original bios 2. Apply the firmware update by using the tool given above. 3. Export this new DP firmware to original bios. 4. Mow make your old modded settings with this new original Bios.
