Good news for die hard Reddit addicts around the world, Reddit just released the Official Reddit app for iOS and Android users. The official mobile app for Reddit has finally hit the App Store and Play Store. Before this Alien Blue was the Official app for iOS but that ends today, well at least for iPhone users there is no dedicated version for iPad yet so they’re gonna have to stick with Alien Blue for now, don’t get me wrong Alien Blue is not bad or anything.
In fact, when there was no real app for Reddit, a number of third-party Reddit clients launched their own ideas for a reddit app. The best one by far was … you guessed it, “Alien Blue” and so it was acquired by Reddit later on and became the base of the new reddit app you have before you.
