Destiny 2 is the sequel to 2014’s highly successful MMOFPS, Destiny, the divided fanbase is still recovering from the less than ecstatic debacle that was Curse of Osiris, it seems that Destiny 2 Expansion 2 Plot and Details Leaked early on Japan PSN.
The source for the above information comes straight from the Destiny 2 Subreddit and the page link has been removed since. Destiny 2 Expansion 2 has a release date of May 2018 and is named as God of Mars, if we are to believe the early listing on the Japanese PSN Store.

NOTE: Frames and Nanites seem to be a part of the same faction, not 2 different races as implied. So we’re getting 1 new enemy faction to combat.
Destiny 2 Expansion II: Gods of Mars sends your Guardian out to Mar’s Clovis Grove, a brand new destination that is host to an array of brand new missions and adventures. Work alongside the elusive Ana Bray in order to prevent Charlemagne, Matrix of Corruption from amassing an army of SIVA-enhanced weaponized frames before Mars is lost.

It goes without saying that while we have quite some time between Curse of Osiris and God of Mars, we are in for a truly surprising expansion, given that Bungie handles this expansion better than they did the first expansion.
Keep in mind that this is all still a rumor and as such the validity of the information can not be confirmed nor denied. Do take all this information with coupious amounts of salt.
Destiny is Bungie’s first endavor after departing from the Halo series with 343 Industries now at the helm of it, while Destiny 2 has met with plenty of acclaim, we still want to see if the game can surpass the original where it had faults.
