Apple announced a new iPad, simply named the iPad. The new iPad comes with 9.7-inch display and is the replacement to the old iPad Air 2.
The new iPad is exactly the same as the iPad Air 2 with only a couple of differences. The first major difference is that it comes with Apple A9 chip instead of the A8X in iPad Air 2. Plus the new iPad is 7.5mm compared to the 6.1mm of iPad Air 2.
The iPad has a bigger 32.4Wh battery as compared to the 27.62Wh battery of iPad Air 2. All other specifications are exactly same. The same 9.7-inch Retina display, the same 8 MP rare camera which can record 1080p videos and the same 1.2MP front camera.
Pricing
The new iPad will start at $329 for 32 GB Wifi only model. The 128 GB Wifi only version will cost you $429. The cellular version will cost $459 for the 32GB and $559 for the 128GB model.
