Some more leaked snapshots of Windows 8.1 Update 1 shows changes in Start Screen

Just a week back, WZor came with some leaked images of Windows 8.1 Update 1. The snapshots confirms the desktop support for running Metro apps. But now the source comes with some more leaked snapshots.

Unlike the previous ones, these snapshots are related to Start Screen. Windows 8.1 Update 1 seems to make some changes in Start Screen too making it more interactive. Have a look on this leaked snapshot:

So the first thing, you will have noticed is the addition of two more buttons i.e. Search and Power button next to right of User’s Picture. The first button brings the Search feature to the Start Screen. This will make using Search more convenient for the users. Coming to the 2nd button, previously there was no visible Power button on any of the screens either Desktop or Start. But Windows 8.1 Update 1 leaked snapshot shows the Power button just after the Search one. It will make it easy and time saving for users to shut down their devices.

Last change you will notice is the introduction of some more options in the pop-up menu when you right click an app on Start Screen. The added options enables you to RESIZE the metro apps’ icons. It seems that Windows 8.1 Update 1 is going to bring some support for keyboard and mouse on Start Screen. The update is expected to come on March 11.
