The Dark Pictures: Little Hope Release Date Leaked By German Retailer

The Dark Pictures Anthology is a new project headed by SuperMassive Games, famous for 2015’s PS4 exclusive, Until Dawn. The studio gave us a first look at the series in August 2019 with Man of Medan, and since then, fans have been eagerly anticipating the highly teased “Little Hope” the latest entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology. However, German retailer, Saturn, may have accidentally revealed an early look at The Dark Pictures: Little Hope Release Date leaked by the retailer.

The Dark Pictures: Little Hope Release Date Leaked – A Chilling Adventure Awaits You.

The retailer has shared an expected release date of 15th June, 2020. Whether or not this release date is set in stone with the current issues the gaming industry is going through is still in the air.

Along with the release date, the retailer has some shared some basic details of the game.

We do know that the game is set to take place in a small town called Little Hope, which was a major place during the Salem Witch Trials:

Four college students and their teacher find themselves trapped and isolated in the abandoned town of Little Hope. There they try to flee from nightmarish appearances, which they pursue mercilessly from the impenetrable fog.

If this is anything like Man of Medan, you are in for a heck of a spooky time. This genre is severely lacking and mostly is filled by developers like SuperMassive Games and Quantic Dreams. Fans of this genre are bound to enjoy Little Hope as much they did Man of Medan.

Despite the latter having some lukewarm critical reviews, it was still a fun game to play by yourself and with friends, a first in the series if not the genre itself. The game is expected to retail for USD/EU/GBP 30 where applicable,

While we don’t much material to substantiate the release date being valid or not, you should remember to take this news with a grain of salt. Currently, many video games are uncertain as developers are working from home or not at all. As such, you should expect titles to be delayed until the pandemic resolves itself.
