Amazon Japan has listed a limited edition box-set of 63 Amiibos. These will be available in limited quantities and will only have 50 boxes. Out of the 74 characters available, 63 of them are available through this box collection. So if you have no Amiibo’s, this would be a great place to start for you. The new Super Smash Bros Ultimate Amiibo List is one that you don’t want to miss out on.

You can also use these Amiibo with compatible first-party Nintendo games.  With games like Kirby Star Allies, Splatoon 2, and plenty of other games to get free rewards from. You are potentially getting a lot of return on your investment if you have a good library of Nintendo Games.

The handy little peripherals retail at about $13 each but their rarity is what makes them hard to find. The toys have an NFC at their base and are paired with a Nintendo console which will have a built-in NFC reader to gain rewards.

Some examples are getting an extra life or extra coins in Super Mario Odyssey when using Amiibo characters of the game.

While we currently don’t know what powers the Amiibo will bring with them when it comes to Smash Bros Ultimate, they will be minor at best and will probably replicate Smash Bros 4. Where you can unlock a character. We will update the list when this information becomes available.

The box-set is available exclusively on Amazon Japan. The price hasn’t been listed yet and there are only 50 boxes available. The deal hasn’t yet extended to Amazon US or the EU division, and there is a chance it might not reach until the launch of the game.
