It seems that someone was able to capture the June 2020 PS+ Games lineup early. According to the owner of the video, Sony uploaded the video early to Instagram and took the video down. However, they managed to record the footage and so far it looks like a genuine trailer, and PS+ games do have a tendency of getting leaked by Sony’s own social media early. However, we are still going to label this as a rumor.
June 2020 PS+ Games Lineup – Call of Duty WW2 and Star Wars Battlefront 2
It seems the second game for June 2020 PS+ could be Star Wars Battlefront 2. PlayStation already kicked off the month early and made Call of Duty WW2 available earlier today, but the second game is still a mystery.
According to PlayStation Gaming, a YouTube Channel, they managed to record the Instagram video before it was taken down. The video is believed to be from PlayStation’s own Instagram account and it was swiftly taken down.
The video does look very convincing and it has been rare for leaked PS+ games revealed through Sony social media to be off the mark. However, we are still a few days shy of June and only time will tell if the YouTube channel actually recorded the right footage.
The two games are very strong choices for PS+. Call of Duty WW2 weighs in at a modest 81 GB while Call of Duty Modern Warfare is close to reaching the 200 GB mark. In addition, WW2 is now a significantly better game and could appeal to the fanbase to change which game they play.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is also a good choice because it has reached the end of the free content cycle. EA and DICE have confirmed that they’re not going to work on any additional free content for the game any more as they are working full-steam ahead on the next Battlefield and other titles.
Both games are great multiplayer games and are bound to be a blast if you play with friends. If the June 2020 PS+ Lineup does prove to be true, this is indeed a great month for people to be members of the program.
