The show of the decade that has turned every fantast/horror/zombie movie or season upside down, has brought something new. The Walking Dead has been one of the most interesting shows in a while now. It is not only because of the enthusiasm and dedication of the actors but also because of the intensity of the show. This however is the new poster of The Walking Dead. The poster shows Rick Grimes and armed and “dangerous”.
The AMC drama’s new poster for season 5 shows off Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes holding, in fact, a very big gun, looking armed and dangerous. By the looks of it, he is prepared for anyone and anything next to the words “Hunt or Be Hunted”. “Hunt” seems to be the most appropriate word for Rick Grimes as he did not choose the latter option in any of the past seasons.
Typically, The Walking Dead season key art shows a full-bodied Rick Grimes standing or on the move in some way. The Season 4’s poster for example:
That was Rick Grimes standing by the torn gates of the prison. The Season 3 poster also had Rick standing outside the prison, and in that one he was guarding it. Meanwhile, if we are talking about the seasons’ posters, then Seasons 1 and 2 were of Rick heading into the city and heading into the country, respectively.
But this is quite interesting to see such a close up of his face. But that maybe the whole point, well I mean, look at his face.
Rick Grimes is a man you really don’t want to mess up with. He has been a man of his words and action. He has stood up for his family and taken steps when seemed necessary. Although, we are anticipating a brutal first six minutes after all.
Who will be hunting and who will be hunted? We’ll find out soon enough!
