Like Mass Effect, the game has a huge impact on the next episode depending upon the choices you make in the previous episode. So importing The Walking Dead season save files is a very important step in order to play the game or to enjoy the game with the decisions you make in the previous game.
If you have played through the season 1 and 400 hours then your save file has been saved in this directory “DocumentsTelltale GamesThe Walking Dead – Season 1” the save files are saved as prefs.prop. However, season 2 does not have any directory as I wrote above.
How to Import?
- You can rename the “The Walking Dead – Season 1” folder, from “DocumentsTelltale GamesThe Walking Dead – Season 1” to “The Walking Dead”.
- Start the first episode of Season 2
- Import the save game
- Rename the folder back
Telltale Shutting Down and TWD Future
Recently, it was bought to the news that Telltale the developers behind The Walking Dead series is shutting down as it hit was a massive layoff as a major part of the studio shuts down. Employees were told of the company-wide layoffs starting Friday morning during a company meeting after Telltale’s board of directors made the call to move forward with the decision on Thursday evening. Only a small number of crew remaining staying on to fulfill the company’s obligations to its board and partners. This also puts TWD final season in danger as we might not be able to see the final season of the favorite narrative driven zombie game. What do you guys think?
