Resonance of Fate is a role-playing video game that was originally developed by tri-Ace and published by Sega for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. owing to the game’s popularity tri-Ace decided that a remaster of the game for current gen was needed and hence Resonance of Fate 4K Edition came on the scene. Resonance of Fate 4K Edition is a remaster of the original game with high-resolution textures meant for PS4 console and PC via Steam.
Resonance of Fate 4K Edition Free DLC?
The exciting news is that tri-Ace has announced that they will be releasing Resonance of Fate 4K Edition High Res Texture Pack as free DLC for PC which will be downloadable from Steam.
According to the developers, it was expected that the Steam version of the Remaster will require about 80 gigs of space for download but thankfully due to High-Resolution Texture Pack the size was brought down significantly to only 16 gigs.
According to tri-Ace’s Ryosuke Nozawa, “We took special care with the textures to improve their quality. Take a look at the hair carefully to get a sense of this. Not only did we make Leane better, but check out Vashyron’s silky locks as well. We also all really enjoyed being able to see the expressions on the characters as they are traversing the environment.”
It looks like tri-Ace is taking the remaster of the game very seriously, they have also posted before and after screenshots of the game to compare the visual improvement.
