Far Cry 5 is an open first-person shooter game developed and published by Ubisoft. The game was quite the success and led to its sequel Far Cry New Dawn in 2019. Now, you can play Far Cry 5 for free on PC, and enjoy a sale on all its editions.

Ubisoft hasn’t announced a new Far Cry title yet, but based on their release history, we might be seeing a new one soon. With next-generation consoles announced, it would make sense for a new Far Cry to be revealed eventually as well. For now, Ubisoft is focusing on their upcoming releases like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Trackmania.

Play Far Cry 5 for free on Uplay

This offer is available for PC users, and through the Uplay client. You can play the game for free from May 29, 3 PM CEST to May 31, 10 PM CEST. Players will have access to the content present in the base game, and their progress will carry over should they choose to purchase the game.

New players can start pre-loading the game today, May 27 at 7PM CEST on Uplay PC.
