The first person shooter genre has been becoming more and more competitive as developers try to incorporate BR game modes into their game. The enormous success of games such as PUBG and Fortnite stands as a testament to the fact that BR is the most popular genre of games right now when it comes to first-person shooters. Many developers have tried to jump on the bandwagon, albeit some with less success than others, to do their own BR mode. However, no major triple-A developer has released a BR of their own, that is, until now. We have some authentic confirmation of Call of Duty Battle Royale which is exciting in itself. The BR mode for Call of Duty is going by the name Blackout. Black Ops 4 Blackout Battle Royale has not only been confirmed but updates regarding the perks system as well as a new map has also emerged.
Perks Confirmed in Black Ops 4 Blackout Battle Royale
As rumors start to roll out regarding the new BR mode, more and more info will leaked. This time around we have confirmed through a leaked source that Perks will indeed be a part of the upcoming Black Ops 4 Blackout Battle Royale mode. As has been the case with the previous Call of Duty titles, perks have always been a big part of the COD gameplay and this time around it shouldn’t be any different.
According to a statement leaked online, it seems like there is going to be a demo of Black Ops 4 Blackout Battle Royale mode in coming Oct where Activision will showcase all the essential characteristics of the game such as Perks, weapons, character progression, vehicle elements, map locations, mechanics and more.

Apart from the perks, we have some very exciting news about a new map which is allegedly the BR map. According to the “Call of Duty News • charlieINTEL.com” Twitter account, a tweet has surfaced whereby the news map has been shown. The tweet can be read below with the map attached.
