If we are to believe the data mining efforts of redditor Marxally who has data mined through 2 consecutive Paladins updates, it seems that the developer is getting ready to launch Paladin on Nintendo Switch.

In his previous update, Marxally shared that joy-cons were spotted in the data, but now the joy cons have been given color!

Among the other details, there also appears to be a eShop listing for the game in the update.

Paladins on Nintendo Switch Is DEFINITELY Real!

As we get closer to E3 and other major announcements, one can only wonder in anticipation an amazing year that the Nintendo Switch has ahead for it.

Hi-Rez studios has hinted that they would love to bring the game to the system, and considering how light the game is, it would be the perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch, considering how lacking the system is in free-to-play games, which makes it the only console surviving solely on first and third-party retail or digital titles with no good free-to-play alternatives.

While Paladins has met with a mixed reception due to being criticized for trying too hard to copy Overwatch, its more successful counterpart, there is still a massive and thriving community for the game the way Fortnite and PUBG compete in a market.

Paladins for Nintendo Switch may come on E3 2018

While earlier today we did get some good news about the arrival of Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch, we can certainly hope that we hear the same news for Paladins in the coming days as the arrival of free-to-play games can truly bring a huge change to the system and its competitive advantage, I know I would love to play the 2 games when on the move.

While we still have to wait for official confirmation from the developer, knowing that the game could be coming to the system just makes me all the more excited for the amazing future ahead of the Nintendo Switch in 2018 and beyond!

What are your thoughts on the arrival of free to play games on the system?
