Motorola was not there on the IFA 2014 to announce their phones and gadgets. But that didn’t stop the future Lenovo subordinate from announcing its second round of smartphones, the Moto X 2014, Moto G 2014 and the Moto 360 smartwatch running Android Wear.

The Moto X 2014 may be a second generation phone but it feels like the same great handheld device. The Moto X 2014 features a 5.2” 1080p AMOLED display and a body that can now feature an aluminum frame, stereo speakers on the front and back panel options featuring real leather and wood. The camera of the Moto X 2014 has been upgraded from 10MP to 13MP.

The Moto X 2014 base colors comes in Black and White. Other than that it has several backs that can be changed and replaced. The battery has a capacity of 2300mAh that runs a 5.2” screen and a Snapdragon 801 processor.

The metal frame of the Moto X 2014 is exposed on the sides and becomes even more prominent on the top. The overall shape is the same as the original. The size is same as its predecessor but offers a whole half inch screen more.
