Mortal Kombat 11 Leak Round-Up – Rumors Konfirmed

We have noticed in the past few days how our leaks have been picking up traction from various parts of the internet. As such, we are now going to talk about the Mortal Kombat 11 Leak and discuss what has been Konfirmed and what has yet to be confirmed. We will share our own opinion on why each element of the email is very likely to happen.

Mortal Kombat 11 Leak Round-Up

Box Art: Konfirmed!

You can see that the box art from the email, which we published on December 15th, is indeed Konfirmed!

Ed Boon confirmed the box art via an official tweet on January 10th, 2019

Hype Trailer: Konfirmed!

You can see the last bullet of the email states that the Hype Trailer will be scored by DJ Dimitri Vegas. Here is the sound clip from the email:

This was also confirmed in a tweet from the official Mortal Kombat twitter account on 11th Jan 2019.

The email also talks about playable demo booths for the game present on demo day. This is obviously a given since the event is the global reveal of the game and its gameplay, it would only make sense for there to be gameplay booths at the venue.

Mortal Kombat 11 Geras and Kronika: Not Konfirmed

What is confirmed is that there will be a live stream presentation of the game. Kronika was teased to us at the end of the reveal trailer at The Game Awards, a mysterious woman running her fingers on a giant hour glass.

We do not know anything about Kronika and Geras as of yet.

Sonya as Ronda Rousey: Possibly Konfirmed?

What we do know is that Ronda Rousey is voicing Sonya, but whether or not Sonya takes her likeness is still unconfirmed.

An interesting bit of trivia often overlooked is how Sonya from the first Mortal Kombat game was inspired by another female martial arts expert, Cynthia Rothrock. Considering Ronda is also a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Fighter, it really isn’t that difficult to imagine Ronda lending her voice and possibly likeness to Sonya.

UPDATE: Ronda has just gotten her invitation to the Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event. The first bullet of the email has potentially been Konifrmed.

Mortal Kombat TV Show: Not Konfirmed (Yet)

One of the last rumors we need to address is the show “The Science of Mortal Kombat”. The aim of the 6 episode series will be to recreate famous fighting moves from the game. Mortal Kombat is no stranger to a TV presence, and considering how much of the fanbase is intrigued by the fighting and moves style of the game, this isn’t really something that is beyond the realm of possibility.

With that, we have addressed all possible rumors that are left to be addressed. This is only us with our own two cents thrown into the fighting ring, so whether or not any of these rumors do come to pass will have to be left on the imagination until the global reveal on the 17th of Jan 2019.
