Mortal Kombat 11 Closed Beta is returning yet again, this time with a total of Five characters instead of three. The second closed beta is set to go live on March 27th.

This past weekend we saw Mortal Kombat 11’s first closed beta being put to the test. Select few were given the chance to test out the game’s online functionality with three playable characters. The three characters were Baraka, Skarlet, and Scorpion.

However, in addition to Baraka, Skarlet, and Scorpion, this time around ade and Kabal will also be part of the game when the second closed beta goes live.

Aside from the previously mentioned playable characters, the new beta will also online versus mode and the Klassic Tower. The online versus mode was not part of the first closed beta. Moreover, Players will also be able to customize and create their own unique variations of fighters.

Mortal Kombat 11 Closed Beta Schedule

Unlike the stress test carried out last weekend, the closed beta coming on 27th will be accessible to players residing outside of USA as well.

Earlier this week, NetherRealm Studios Creative Director, Ed Boon, released the schedule for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 beta.

In North America, the beta will kick off on Wednesday, March 27 at 8 a.m. PDT and will conclude on Sunday, March 31 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

Here is the beta schedule breakdown for each region:

  • North and South America:
    Start – Wednesday, March 27th at 8 a.m. PST
    End – Sunday, March 31st at 11:59 p.m. PST
  • United Kingdom:
    Start – Wednesday, March 27th 15:00 GMT
    End – Monday, April 1st at 7:59 GMT
  • Europe and the Middle East:
    Start – Wednesday, March 27th at 16:00 CET
    End – Monday, April 1st at 8:59 CET
  • Asia and Oceania:
    Start – Thursday, March 28th at 2:00 AEDT
    End – Monday, April 1st at 17:59 AEDT

Yesterday, NetherRealm studios presented another installment of their Kombat Kast presentations. In the said presentation it was revealed that Kotal Kahn will officially be making his way into the game as a playable character. Furthermore, an additional two characters are also expected to be announced at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo tomorrow.
