End of Internet Explorer, Microsoft to introduce new browser with Windows 10

Internet Explorer

Microsoft may be giving up on Internet Explorer with the new version of Windows. Some reports suggest that Microsoft is working on an entirely new browser and will say good bye to the Internet Explorer. Codename for the new web browser is Spartan. The new browser will be available with Windows 10.

Microsoft will still support Internet Explorer 11 for backward compatibility sake but it will launch its all new browser with next major version of Microsoft Windows, Windows 10. Microsoft Windows 10 may also include the Internet Explorer 11 in case someone might need it for some apps. But majorly Windows 10 will have the all new browser which is light weighted and feels more like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox according to the source.

The new version will still be based on Microsoft’s own engine but it will be completely different from Internet Explorer. The new version may get popular like Chrome and Firefox and bad reputation of Internet Explorer will be gone as Microsoft is dropping its name. There will be both mobile and desktop version of the new browser.

Microsoft has not confirmed anything yet although there is a Windows 10 event coming on January 21, 2015 in which Microsoft might reveal the all new browser but we cannot guarantee it.
